The 36th annual Stellar Awards, the biggest night in Gospel Music, held this past weekend in Nashville Tennessee on Saturday (July 10) with the theme “Lighting the Way with our Faith, Music and Family”.

Jonathan Mcreynolds and Kierra Sheard emerged top winners taking home three (3) trophies each at the award ceremony hosted by gospel superstars Jekalyn Carr and Tye Tribbett.

McReynolds won the “Male Vocalist of the Year,” “Producer of the Year” and “Contemporary Male of the Year Award” while Kierra was awarded “Song of the Year” & “Music Video of the Year” for her single “Something Has To Break” featuring Tasha Cobbs Leoard, and also “Contemporary Album of the Year” for her self-titled album.

Worship collective, Maverick City Music won “New Artist of the Year” and  “Album of the Year” for their project, Maverick City Music Vol 3 Part 1. Powerhouse gospel songstress won the “Female Vocalist of the Year” Award.
