Below are the top 3 lessons you can take note of from the one time winner of Gold Award- Queens’ Commonwealth Essay Competition.

  • Learn to Dream Big

Dreaming big shouldn’t be too hard for you to practice. Small minds do not have the capacity to try new adventures, the quicker you realize that you have the ability to imagine, project, and achieve your dreams the better for you.

Dreaming big helps to reinvigorate your level of self-esteem, self-confidence which in turn changes the quality of your thinking for a better life.

  • Success Has No Shortcuts

Another important lesson to learn is the fact that success takes time. There are no shortcuts to achieving greatness. In fact, they usually lead to disappointments rather than the intended results that have been thought about.

The moment you realize that achieving your dreams involves a divine process that cannot be skipped, the bigger odds of you getting closer to the positive results that have been programmed for you.

  • You Can Try Again

How many times have you failed? Do you remember the number of times you’ve given up? How many of your plans backfired in a dramatic way? What about people who never gave you a chance, do you intend to confirm their thoughts now?
Then you have to Try Again!!!

You’re never too old or out of time to try new dreams, ideas, legitimate tricks that can bring you closer to your ultimate goals. No expiration date exist for the number of times you can rise up from failed plans or projects.

Like the scriptures revealed in Proverbs 24:16For though a righteous man may fall seven times, he still gets up; but the wicked stumble in bad times.” (Berean Study Bible). This signifies that there is hope for new beginnings when you decide to keep trying even in the darkest of times. When asked about her advice to other girls in a recent interview, Victory responded emphatically, “We rule the world. Own that!”

Irrespective of your gender, race, belief or past mistakes, take a cue from her short and simple, You can rule the world as well, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
