Apostle Emmanuel Iren and Celebration Church Launch Free Primary School in Ibadan

The vision has now become a reality as Apostle Emmanuel Iren officially unveiled the first free school of Celebration Church International, CCI, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The pioneering institution which opened with about 80 students is dedicated to providing children with access to high quality education at absolutely no cost. Beginning with classes from Primary One to Four, the school sets the foundation for a transformative journey that goes beyond academics and focuses on restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity.
On September 15, 2025, at the Celebration Centre in Ibadan, CCI launched Propella Schools, a groundbreaking initiative designed to eliminate barriers to education. With Apostle Iren at the forefront, the new school welcomed its first set of students while announcing a long term plan to establish 50 schools across Nigeria.

Propella Schools cover tuition, stationery, textbooks, workbooks, extracurricular activities, examination fees, ICT training, and clinic services. Every enrolled child is equipped with uniforms, school bags, and learning supplies. At the launch, Apostle Iren rang the first bell to signal the beginning of this historic chapter, declaring, “Here, progress is not behind a paywall. The only cost is your best effort.”
This initiative is part of CCI’s broader 2025 Legacy Year vision, designed to leave lasting impact in communities nationwide. The church believes education is one of the strongest tools for transformation and the Propella Schools project reflects this conviction.
Speaking to parents on opening day, Apostle Iren promised: “No child who attends an expensive school will have better access to education than the ones here. We are raising children who will not just compete, but excel.”
The goal of Propella Schools is not only to provide knowledge but to nurture future leaders. Apostle Iren emphasized that the project is about restoring dignity, confidence, and the ability to dream again. “We believe every child deserves a chance to thrive regardless of their family’s income. This is our way of loving our neighbours and building the next generation.”
Earlier this year, on January 11, 2025, Apostle Iren announced on X that the first free school was nearing completion in Ibadan. Today that promise has taken shape, marking the beginning of a new chapter in educational equity for underserved communities.
The launch of Propella Schools is more than an achievement for CCI, it is a reminder that faith in action can change lives. It is the story of a church stepping beyond the pulpit to bridge educational gaps and empower children to rise as tomorrow’s leaders.
