The Room — CalledOut Music Releases New Album

International gospel artist, producer, and songwriter CalledOut Music has released his highly anticipated new album, The Room, a seven track project that brings together faith, creativity, personal stories, and a fresh contemporary sound.
Available now on all major streaming platforms, the album blends Afro gospel, R&B, soul, and contemporary worship. Through its mix of warm melodies, live instrumentation, and honest songwriting, The Room offers listeners a closer look at the artist’s musical world and spiritual journey.
CalledOut Music, whose real name is Samuel Nwachukwu, describes the project as his most honest artistic statement yet. He draws from the sounds that shaped his childhood while also exploring experiences he has gathered throughout his life and career.
“The Room is probably the most honest representation of who I am as an artist,” says CalledOut Music. “It’s the sounds I grew up with, the music that shaped me, and the stories I’ve carried with me for years. We wanted listeners to feel like they’re in the room with us, experiencing the music as it happened.”
That idea of being in the room sits at the heart of the project. Rather than building the album around a heavily polished studio concept, CalledOut Music wanted to create an atmosphere that feels close, natural, and personal.
Recorded live at Gnome Studios in Nashville, the project brought musicians together in one room. They created and captured the songs in real time, allowing natural interaction and spontaneous moments to shape the final sound.
As a result, The Room carries a strong sense of human connection. The songs draw from childhood memories, family gatherings, community, celebration, and the everyday experiences that continue to shape CalledOut Music.
The album also creates space for listeners from different backgrounds to connect with its message. While The Room does not follow the structure of a traditional worship album, CalledOut Music’s Christian faith remains central to the project.
Songs such as “He Knows My Name” and “Your Love for Me” bring a clear worshipful focus. Meanwhile, “So Real” adds a joyful and vibrant energy that reflects the artist’s ability to combine faith with accessible contemporary sounds.
The result is an album that can move between reflection and celebration without losing its spiritual foundation. CalledOut Music allows each song to carry its own mood while keeping the wider project connected through its themes of faith, identity, love, gratitude, and genuine expression.
The album also marks an important new chapter in CalledOut Music’s artistic journey following his move to the United States. That transition has brought new experiences and influences, and The Room captures some of that growth through its sound and storytelling.
The project’s live approach further strengthens its intimate character. Every instrument, vocal line, and musical exchange contributes to the feeling of people creating together rather than simply recording separate parts.
Alongside the album, CalledOut Music has released the official music video for “So Real.” The visual adds another layer to the song’s joyful character and gives audiences a fresh way to experience one of the standout moments from the project.
More visuals will follow throughout August. The official music video for “Have My Yes” is scheduled for August 24, while “He Knows My Name” will follow on August 26. The visual rollout will continue with “Your Love For Me” on August 31.
Following the release of The Room, CalledOut Music will also support Pat Barrett on select dates of his United States tour. Fans can follow @CalledOut Music on social media for updates on upcoming releases, performances, and tour appearances.

Born in Nigeria and raised in Hampshire, England, CalledOut Music began developing his musical gift at the age of seven after receiving a keyboard from his father. By his early teenage years, he was already leading worship and directing music in churches across the United Kingdom.
In 2016, he officially began his solo career with the breakout single “Working on Me.” He released the song on his 21st birthday, introducing audiences to the sound and message that would become central to his growing career.
Two years later, he released his debut EP, The Collection. He continued to build momentum and gained wider attention in 2019 with “Love Around,” which earned him the Premier Gospel Award for Best Video.
A major breakthrough came in 2020 when CalledOut Music won the MOBO Award for Best Gospel Act. The recognition strengthened his position as one of the notable voices within the United Kingdom gospel music scene.
He continued that progress with his 2022 studio album, My Beautiful Reality. The project featured collaborations with artists including Guvna B, Samm Henshaw, and IMRSQD, further expanding his musical reach.
In 2025, CalledOut Music signed with Integrity Music and continued releasing music through the label. Now, with The Room, he enters another significant phase of his career.
The seven track album reflects an artist who remains rooted in his faith while embracing musical growth and cultural influences. From Afro gospel rhythms to soulful R&B textures and worship focused moments, CalledOut Music creates a project that feels both personal and open to a wider audience.
At its core, The Room is about connection. It invites listeners to hear the music, feel the stories, and enter an atmosphere where faith, culture, memory, and creativity meet.
