‘Full Disclosure’ — Anthony Brown & group therAPy Release Seventh Album

GRAMMY Award nominated and platinum selling Gospel powerhouse Anthony Brown & group therAPy have released their seventh studio album, Full Disclosure, bringing a deeply personal and emotionally honest body of work to digital music platforms.

Released through A Major Entertainment, Tyscot and Fair Trade Services, the ten song project blends urban Gospel sounds with polished ballads and reflective moments. Across the album, Anthony Brown & group therAPy explore faith, struggle, hope, victory and the quiet questions that can arise during difficult seasons.

At the centre of the project is honesty. Full Disclosure does not shy away from the emotional weight that can come with seasons of uncertainty. Instead, it creates space for listeners to acknowledge difficult feelings while still holding on to faith.

David “DLO” Outing II serves as producer, with Anthony Brown joining him as co producer. Outing has previously produced Grammy Award nominated Gospel songs including Pastor Mike Jr.’s “Amen” and Jonathan McReynolds’ “Still,” adding another strong creative connection to the project.

For Brown, however, the album goes beyond production and musical excellence. It reflects a personal season that challenged him to become more open about the questions and emotions he was carrying.

“The first track of the record is called, ‘Full Disclosure.’ It is my most transparent explanation of this record,” Brown says. “The Bible says to everything there is a season…But those heavy seasons can hit so hard that sometimes you’ll look up and ask, Where is God? I was talking to a counselor one day and he told me, ‘I wanna help you, but I can only help you from a position of complete transparency of full disclosure. Tell me the truth and we’ll take it from there.'”

That conversation appears to have helped shape the heart of the album. Rather than presenting faith as a journey without questions, Brown allows the project to acknowledge the reality of difficult seasons.

The opening spoken word track, “Full Disclosure,” immediately establishes that tone. It invites listeners into a more reflective space before the music moves through different expressions of praise, struggle and confidence.

Another spoken word track, “Reminders,” continues that reflective approach. Together, the two pieces provide emotional anchors for an album that moves between energetic urban Gospel and expansive worship inspired ballads.

The project also carries plenty of musical energy. “Never Losin'” brings an up tempo urban groove that adds momentum to the collection, while “Victory” delivers an infectious rhythmic sound built around a message of triumph.

Those celebratory moments are balanced by songs that explore deeper emotions. “Up to Something” and “Still” bring anthemic urban Pop influences into the project, giving the album a contemporary edge while keeping its Gospel foundation intact.

Then come the lush ballads that listeners have come to associate with group therAPy. “Promises” and “So Good (The Overflow)” create room for reflection, worship and reassurance.

The album also features “Always Be Good,” the radio single that adds another important dimension to the project. Its message of God’s goodness fits naturally within the larger story of Full Disclosure, which repeatedly brings listeners back to faith even after acknowledging moments of uncertainty.

That balance gives the album its therapeutic character. The record does not remain in one emotional space. Instead, it moves from questions to encouragement, from vulnerability to confidence and from reflection to celebration.

The response from major digital music platforms has also added momentum to the release. Amazon Music has placed songs from the album on its Fresh Gospel playlist, giving the project another avenue to reach Gospel listeners.

Apple Music has also programmed various tracks on several playlists, including the popular Take Me to Church playlist. Spotify has followed with placements on different playlists, including Faith Rising and Spread the Gospel.

These placements reflect the album’s ability to connect with listeners across different Gospel audiences. Its combination of urban rhythms, modern production and traditional themes allows it to sit comfortably within today’s contemporary Gospel landscape.

The release also arrives as Anthony Brown & group therAPy prepare to take their music to audiences on the road. The group is embarking on an eleven city co headlining concert tour with Gospel music legend Maurette Brown Clark.

Brown Clark has built a celebrated career through a series of Billboard Gospel Airplay chart successes. Her No. 1 Gospel Airplay hits include “I See God,” “One God” and “It Ain’t Over (Until God Says It’s Over),” which spent five weeks at the top of the chart in 2008.

Her influence also extends to digital music audiences. Her now classic song “Just Want to Praise Him” has accumulated more than 50 million digital streams, further highlighting her lasting impact on Gospel music.

The award winning singer also hosts the A Good Morning with Maurette morning drive radio programme on iHeart Media’s Heaven 600 AM in Baltimore. Her continued work across music and radio has made her a familiar voice to Gospel audiences.

The Therapy Tour will visit several cities, including Charlotte, North Carolina, Savannah, Georgia, and Richmond, Virginia, among others. Fans can find additional tour information through the official tour management website.

For Anthony Brown & group therAPy, the tour offers an opportunity to bring the emotional world of Full Disclosure beyond streaming platforms and into live worship spaces.

The album also adds another chapter to a career that has already produced major milestones. Anthony Brown & group therAPy have accumulated nearly one billion digital streams, with 963 million and counting, demonstrating the lasting reach of their music.

The group has also earned three Grammy Award nominations. Their songs “Worth” in 2016 and “Help” in 2022 received nominations in the Best Gospel Performance and Song category.

Their 2021 album 2econd Wind: Ready also earned a Grammy nomination for Best Gospel Album, further establishing the group among the leading contemporary Gospel acts of their generation.

Their signature song “Worth” has achieved another major milestone. The RIAA certified the song gold in 2019 before awarding it platinum certification in 2024.

The group has also received six Billboard Music Award nominations in 2016 and 2018. In addition, Anthony Brown & group therAPy have topped the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart six times and reached the Top Ten on eleven occasions.

Those achievements provide important context for Full Disclosure. The album does not come from an emerging act still searching for its voice. It comes from a group with years of experience, major industry recognition and a substantial audience.

Yet the new project still feels personal.

That is perhaps its strongest quality. Despite the awards, chart success and millions of streams, Anthony Brown uses Full Disclosure to focus on something more human. He opens the door to the questions that can come with difficult seasons and reminds listeners that faith can survive those questions.

The album’s title becomes especially meaningful in that context. Full disclosure requires honesty. It requires a person to stop hiding and tell the truth about what is happening beneath the surface.

Through the project, Brown turns that honesty into music.

The result is a collection that can encourage listeners who are celebrating a victory, comfort those walking through uncertainty and remind those who feel distant from God that difficult seasons do not have to become the end of their faith journey.

From the energetic declaration of “Never Losin'” to the reflective weight of “Full Disclosure,” from the reassurance of “Promises” to the celebration of “Victory,” the album creates a broad emotional journey.

Ultimately, Full Disclosure continues Anthony Brown & group therAPy’s mission of using contemporary Gospel music to inspire faith, hope and transformation. It is polished without losing its emotional core and contemporary without abandoning its spiritual foundation.

With the new album now available across digital music platforms and the Therapy Tour preparing to take the music on the road, Anthony Brown & group therAPy are entering another significant chapter.

This time, however, they are not simply inviting listeners to celebrate the good moments.

They are inviting them to be honest about every season, trust God through the difficult ones and keep believing that there is still purpose on the other side.
