Phil Wickham Announces Southern California Christmas Tour
GRAMMY nominated worship artist and songwriter Phil Wickham is bringing the joy of Christmas back to Southern California with his upcoming Hallelujah! It’s Christmas! Southern California Christmas Tour.
The special concert series will give fans an opportunity to celebrate the season through familiar Christmas songs, worship music and messages of hope centred on the birth of Jesus Christ.
Following the success of his first arena tour, Wickham is returning to a more intimate concert setting for the Christmas season. The fan favourite tour will feature five nights of music, bringing families, friends and church communities together to celebrate one of the most meaningful periods on the Christian calendar.
Unlike a large scale arena production, the Christmas tour aims to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where audiences can sing, worship and reflect together. Wickham plans to combine beloved Christmas classics with newly released worship music, giving the concerts a blend of familiar traditions and fresh expressions of faith. As a result, the tour will offer more than a night of live entertainment. It will create space for people to reconnect with the spiritual message at the heart of Christmas.
For many Christians, Christmas is a time to remember the birth of Jesus and the hope His coming represents. Through music and shared worship, Wickham hopes to bring that message into focus while giving audiences an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life. The concerts will encourage attendees to reflect on God’s love, celebrate the gift of Jesus and enjoy the season alongside the people who matter most to them.
Wickham expressed his excitement about returning to Southern California and sharing the Christmas experience with audiences across the region. He also explained why the season holds such a special place in his heart, pointing to the message of God’s presence and the opportunity Christmas music creates for people to come together in worship.
“Christmas is a reminder that God came near to us in the most beautiful and unexpected way,” said Wickham. “I love that Christmas music gives us an opportunity to pause, gather together, and celebrate the hope and joy we have because of Jesus. I’m so excited to bring this Christmas Tour back to Southern California and sing these songs with friends, family, and our church community. My prayer is that, in the middle of all the lights, traditions, and celebrations, we would be reminded of what Christmas is really about — that God is with us. I can’t wait to worship and celebrate with you this Christmas!”

His message reflects the central purpose of the tour. While Christmas often brings colourful decorations, family traditions and festive gatherings, Wickham wants audiences to remember the faith behind the celebration. His plans place worship and reflection alongside the familiar excitement of the season.
The tour will visit Fontana, San Diego and Downey, giving fans across Southern California several opportunities to see Wickham perform live. These stops will bring his Christmas music to different communities, allowing families and friends to share the experience without travelling far from home.
Wickham has built a strong following through worship songs that encourage personal reflection and collective praise. His Christmas performances will draw on that connection with listeners, combining the warmth of seasonal music with the worship focused approach that defines much of his work. By bringing familiar Christmas favourites together with newer material, he hopes to create a programme that appeals to longtime fans and those discovering his music for the first time.
The five night tour also offers an opportunity for church communities to celebrate beyond their usual gatherings. Friends and families can attend together, sing songs associated with the season and reflect on the hope that Christmas represents. In this way, the concerts aim to unite music, fellowship and faith in an atmosphere that welcomes people of different ages.
