Merry1

Merry1 (real name Senge Olumuyiwa Samuel) is an Afrogospel artist, singer, songwriter, music minister, and sound influencer who hails from Osun State, Nigeria. He is the originator of a genre he calls ‘Afro super sound’ fondly called (Afro Super) – supernatural afrobeats

While a student on campus, Merry1 was part of a music group on called Big Time Potentialz (B.T.P). He later left the group after his encounter with Christ and diverted the same talent and energy to the gospel. He has ever since been on fire for God, serving in church, and as a member of the Believers’ love world inc (Christ Embassy).

Formerly known with the stage name ‘Sam Happy’, He kick-started his musical career professionally in 2015 with the release of his debut “You Alone,” followed by his second effort in 2017 single titled ‘Omemma’ prod by award-winning producer SMJ.

In 2022, the talented artist re-branded as “Merry1” and with the release of a brand new single “For You,” the first taste from his upcoming EP due later in 2023.
