Sinach (born Osinachi Kalu) is a world-renowned worship leader with over 25 years of leading worship around the World. She is a multi-award-winning gospel singer, prolific songwriter, and recording artist who hails from Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
The anointed songstress is known globally for writing and recording several hits, such as “Way Maker,” “I Know Who I Am,” “Rejoice,” “The Name of Jesus,” “There’s An Overflow,” more which have become anthems in many Churches and homes all around the world. She has also performed in several countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, the U.S, Antigua, Barbuda, Trinidad, Tobago, Grenada, Uganda, Barbados, and the U.K. She has recorded nine albums and has won numerous awards.
With over 140 million YouTube views, Sinach’s most-popular worship anthem “Way Maker” earned the NO. 2 spot on the ‘Top 20 Most Played Nigerian Song of the Decade,’ (2020) behind famous afrobeat musician Davido. Her highly declarative anthem “I Know Who I Am” also made the cut, occupying the 17th position on the chart.
In May 2020, Sinach became the first African artist to top the Billboard Christian Songwriters chart. She also retained the No. 1 spot on the chart for over 11 weeks in a row, making her the first and only woman to achieve this feat (on the Billboard Chart for Christian songwriters).

Personal life
In 2014, Sinach got married to her hubby, Mr. Joseph Egbu in her home Church Christ Embassy. On 17 November 2019 at the LIMA Awards Pastor Chris Oyakhilome announced the arrival of her first child, five years after her marriage
