“BURN” — Dunsin Oyekan Releases New Revival Sound Feat. John Wilds

Renowned gospel psalmist, revivalist, and prophetic worship leader Dunsin Oyekan returns with a deeply stirring second single of 2026 titled “BURN,” featuring American contemporary Christian musician and worship leader John Wilds. This powerful collaboration arrives as a resounding call to revival, consecration, and holiness, echoing a heartfelt plea for the baptism of fresh fire upon individuals and the global Church.
“Burn” is not an ordinary song. It is a spiritual cry born out of a hunger for purity and renewed intimacy with God. At a time when believers are urged to remain aligned with holiness, sanctification, and true revival, the song calls believers hearts back to the altar. From the opening chant of “Burn, burn, burn” and “Sing, sing, sing,” the listener is drawn into an atmosphere where worship is no longer defined by words alone but by a surrendered life. The declaration “My life is the worship You want to hear” establishes the central theme of the song, presenting worship as a devoted life, holy words, a living altar, and renewed fire.
As the song unfolds, it emphasizes that the song God desires is surrender. With the repeated confession “I surrender all to You,” the cry deepens into a personal prayer. The plea “Holy fire burn on my altar, burn in me, burn through me” becomes a passionate request for divine purification and total yielding. This is worship that seeks not performance but transformation, where the fire of God consumes every offering laid on the altar of the heart.
The repeated invocation of “Holy fire on my altar” intensifies the sense of consecration, reinforcing the image of a believer continually presenting their life before God. The song then moves into a solemn cry for purification with the repeated prayer “Burn this chaff away.” This moment captures the essence of the song’s message, a longing for God’s refining fire to remove everything temporal, impure, and uneternal, leaving only what reflects His nature and glory.
Speaking on the song, Dunsin Oyekan shared the depth of its spiritual origin, writing, “God invaded my heart with this sound. He invaded time with that which is timeless. God superimposed the natural state with glory and to birth this supernatural sound.” He further emphasized the urgency of alignment with Christ as the world approaches the end of the age, calling families, generations, and nations to come into one accord under the Lordship of Jesus.
In his reflection, Dunsin explains the distinction between water and fire, noting that while water cleanses, fire is jealous and leaves nothing untouched. He highlights that Jesus baptizes not with water but with fire, a fire that removes what water cannot, irreversibly purifying and separating the holy from the profane. “No wonder Jesus, the greatest, baptizes not with water, but with fire. Fire removes that which can’t be reached by water. Its purifying power is irreversible; nothing escapes it, and it separates the holy from the profane. Fire leaves only what is eternal as it refines, bringing out value and a new form from that precious stone. In the last days, there will be shakings; only that which is of God will stand.” According to him, fire refines, revealing eternal value and reshaping lives into something precious and enduring. In times of shaking, only what is of God will remain, and this sound carries the King of Glory, igniting the will of sons through holy heat.
Dunsin concludes his message with a prayer that everyone who encounters this sound will allow themselves to burn until true worship is ignited within them and through them, declaring boldly that everything is about to catch fire. “The King of Glory rides on this sound, bringing light, igniting the will of sons through holy heat. I pray that as this sound reaches you, you allow yourself to burn till true worship is ignited in you and all flesh that comes in contact with you. Spread the word, for everything is about to catch,” he added.
Accompanying the release is a super charged, Spirit filled live ministration video on YouTube that runs for twenty seven minutes. The video captures a raw atmosphere of worship and revival, as Dunsin Oyekan, in his trademark prophetic style, leads worshippers into deep intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Through intense chants, prayers, and surrender, the ministration invokes the presence of the Trinity, calling for holy fire to ignite revival in the body, soul, and spirit of all who listen.
