CELEBRITIES EMBRACE NEW ARTIST STEPHEN B. STEWARD DURING BET’S CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL‎ WEEKEND

Hollywood welcomed rising worship artist Stephen B. Steward with open arms this weekend as he made way to multiple key events during BET’s 14th annual Celebration of Gospel weekend.

Friday morning (March 14) saw the award-winning singer/songwriter on hand at BET’s Celebration of Gospel prayer breakfast at Beverly Hill’s luxurious Sofitel Hotel. Joining a star-studded guest list, Steward’s appearance at the event marked yet another warm embrace from the wealth of A-list celebrities in attendance. Later that night, Stephen brought his unmistakable baritone to the live stage to share electric renditions of numbers from his forthcoming debut album ENTER YOUR GATES.

Saturday evening (March 15) Steward was on hand to attend the live taping of BET’s Celebration of Gospel 2014. Gracing the red carpet with wife Onesha Steward, the “Purify My Soul” performer set the event’s red carpet alight and shone amongst the brightest of gospel and praise-and-worship stars.

Stephen’s appearance only helps build on the already mounting anticipation for his debut album ENTER YOUR GATES. Due spring 2014, the project was kicked off by the award-winning, Andraé Crouch-assisted number “With My Whole Heart.” Upon its release, the tune was met critical acclaim, a subsequent impressive debut on Billboard’s Top Gospel Singles charts, and later nabbed three 2013 Prayze Factor People’s Choice Award wins.

All of the aforementioned is shortly ahead of “One Night Only” – Stephen’s must see live concert with Grammy®-nominated singer/songwriter Jonathan Butler. Featuring a special appearance from legendary gospel icon Andraé Crouch, the concert – to be held April 12 at Pasadena’s Ambassador Auditorium – will showcase yet again why Steward continues to beam as a must-hear act for worship music’s freshmen class.
