Chris Tomlin Releases New Album — “The King Is Still The King”

GRAMMY Award-winning worship leader Chris Tomlin has officially released his highly anticipated 18th studio album, The King Is Still The King. Available now on all digital streaming platforms and in physical stores, the project reaffirms Tomlin’s position as one of the most influential voices in contemporary Christian music.
The new album has been building anticipation with early releases including “Jesus Saves,” “Doesn’t He,” “The First Hymn” featuring Ben Fielding, and Tomlin’s current radio single “How Good It Is.” Each track carries his signature worship-driven style, blending timeless gospel truth with melodies designed for congregations and personal devotion alike.

Sharing his heart about the project, Tomlin explained:
“When you listen to this collection of songs and music pieces, I hope that you’re filled with the presence of God. That it fills your car, your home, your heart as you sing these songs. And these songs were meant to be sung. So turn it up. Sing it loud. I pray you’re blessed by it.”
The album’s title track, “The King Is Still The King,” premiered live on YouTube in Still The King | Live From VEVO Studios. The release was followed by an exclusive AfterParty event for YouTube Premium members, giving fans a deeper glimpse into the inspiration behind the music.
Coinciding with the album release, Chris Tomlin has launched his fall headlining tour, An Evening of Worship with Chris Tomlin. The tour began in Buffalo, NY, and Cincinnati, OH, and will span 20 cities across the United States through November 8.
Joining him on the road is The Heritage, who are making their inaugural tour appearance. The tour is promoted by TPR and sponsored by Food For The Hungry, combining music with a mission to impact lives both in the U.S. and globally.
Unlike many of his past tours that have filled some of the world’s most iconic venues including; Madison Square Garden in New York, the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, and Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. This tour is designed to bring worship back to its most intimate setting – the local church.
Known as the “most often sung artist in the world,” Chris Tomlin has written and recorded some of the most beloved worship songs of the modern era, including “How Great Is Our God,” “Good Good Father,” “Our God,” and “Holy Forever.” With The King Is Still The King, Tomlin continues his legacy of creating music that transcends generations and cultures, equipping churches with songs that echo across sanctuaries week after week.
This latest project not only celebrates the unchanging kingship of Christ but also reminds listeners that in uncertain times, the message of God’s sovereignty and goodness remains the anchor of the Christian faith.
