GRAMMY Award winning and multi platinum group Elevation Worship has released their brand new live album, SO BE IT, today February 20, 2026. The release comes ten years after their 2016 project Here Below, which became widely known for songs such as Here Again, Hallelujah Here Below, and the timeless Worthy. With SO BE IT, the group adds their 18th album to an already remarkable catalog, presenting a bold declaration of faith for the global Church.
SO BE IT stands as a strong affirmation that when God speaks, His word is final and unchanging. The project centers on the sovereignty and authority of God, emphasizing that what He has declared is settled and cannot be overturned. Elevation Worship’s Tiffany Hudson explains the heart behind the album, saying “‘SO BE IT’ declares the sovereignty and finality of God’s word. If God spoke it, it’s as good as done. We can be confident that nothing could ever overturn or override the word of God.” This statement captures the foundation of the entire record, which calls believers into confident agreement with what heaven has already established.
The title track, SO BE IT, carries an anthemic and cinematic sound filled with commanding authority. The song proclaims the finished work of Christ and the victory of the risen Jesus, reinforcing the conviction that God has spoken, the work is complete, and nothing remains unresolved. Each lyric and musical swell reflects a posture of faith that aligns with heaven’s declaration, echoing the certainty that God’s promises stand firm.
Recorded live in a church setting, SO BE IT captures a defining moment of communal worship. The album reflects a gathered body of believers responding in faith to what has already been settled in heaven. Every track flows from a place of agreement, aligning hearts with God’s truth and trusting fully in His promises. Rather than striving for victory, the songs celebrate a victory that has already been won.
The 10 track album includes the Dove Award winning and GRAMMY nominated I Know a Name, alongside Jesus Be the Name and God I’m Just Grateful. A defining thread throughout the project centers on the authority and power found in the name of Jesus. “I Know a Name” testifies to the unmatched power in His name, while “Jesus Be the Name” magnifies and exalts that name above every other. Songs such as Alleluia further strengthen the worshipful atmosphere, creating a cohesive and spiritually impactful body of work. The album also features appearances from Chandler Moore, Brandon Lake, and Leeland, adding depth and collaborative strength to the project.
In support of the new album, Elevation Worship will embark on The Elevation Nights Tour, featuring Pastor Steven Furtick and ELEVATION RHYTHM, beginning February 24, 2026. The tour is expected to bring the live worship experience of SO BE IT to audiences across multiple cities.
Elevation Worship serves as the worship ministry of Elevation Church, a multi site church based in Charlotte and led by Pastor Steven Furtick. Over the years, they have released numerous albums and achieved significant milestones, including RIAA Platinum certified songs such as The Blessing, Graves Into Gardens, Do It Again, Here As In Heaven, See A Victory, Trust In God, and Lion. Their Double Platinum certified songs include Jireh, O Come To The Altar, and Praise. The group has also earned multiple Gold certifications and numerous industry awards.
Their 2024 album When Wind Meets Fire debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, marking the eighth time in their career they achieved that milestone. The project was later named Worship Album of the Year at the 56th Annual GMA Dove Awards. In addition, Elevation Worship has achieved five number one radio singles including RATTLE! and Same God, further solidifying their influence in contemporary Christian music.
With SO BE IT, Elevation Worship once again delivers songs crafted for the local church, designed to help people encounter Jesus personally. The album reinforces their mission to create worship moments that draw believers into deeper faith, confident trust, and wholehearted agreement with the unshakable word of God.
