Renowned Author and Leadership Expert, Sam Adeyemi has taken to Twitter to express his feelings regarding the violence and killings that has marred the #EndSARS protest in Nigeria.

With the Government of Nigeria struggling to instill calmness in the country considering the shooting of unarmed protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate which has spread wild reactions in Lagos and other parts of the country, the Founder and Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Center has urged youths in the country not to take laws into their hands.

In a series of tweets on social media platform Twitter, Sam Adeyemi spread the message of hope and belief in the quest for good governance by Nigerian citizens. “Dear young citizen, the turn of 20/10/2020 is very sad indeed. I know that you’re deeply disappointed that the country you love and seek to improve hurts you this much…We mourn the loss of those who passed. We will not forget them. We pray for comfort and strength and their loved ones. We pray for speedy healing for those who hurt.”

Please don’t revenge. God will do a better job of that and get us justice. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. I”LL take care of it”. (Romans 12:19) he added.

Pastor Sam further emphasized on the need for youth to desist from violence stressing the need to hold firmly the vision of a developed nation in our hearts.
