Tiwa Savage Sings Zacardi Cortez’ “Lord Do It For Me”
Famous Nigerian pop star Tiwa Savage once again surprised her fans with a gospel rendition via her social media platform.
The acclaimed Queen of Afro Beats took to Instagram to perform a cover of “Lord Do It For Me” originally written and sung by American contemporary gospel singer Zacardi Cortez housed in his 2022 album Imprint (Live in Memphis).
“As we are about to start our US tour again this year we just stopped in the middle of rehearsal to commit it to His hands because only God made last year a success and He will do it again for me. Can’t wait to see you all,” penned Tiwa on Instagram.
Recall in 2020, she also delivered a gospel mix performance on IG Live, singing Yoruba classics and hymns as she felt led to lift the spirit of fans during the COVID-19 crisis that rocked the world.
