Kanye West, Sunday Service Choir Deliver Moving Performance at DMX Memorial

Hip Hop Icon Kanye West along with his amazing talented group ‘Sunday Service Choir‘ paid homage at the memorial event of late popular Rap maestro – Earl Simmons, famously known as DMX.

The special service was organized to bid final goodbye to a talented artist was held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center with an audience of 1900 people permitted to be in attendance.

West and his group performed several songs with a special arrangement of; Soul II Soul’s & ‘Keep On Movin during the opening of the memorial and later on with their original tracks including; ‘Excellent,’ ‘You Brought the Sunshine’ by the Clark Sisters, and the hymn, ‘Jesus Loves Me.’

The special occasion had in attendance several hitmakers in the music industry with the body of the late singer transported to Barclays Center from his birthplace of Yonkers, in a red casket sitting atop a black monster truck. DMX passed away on the 9th of April 2021 following a heart attack much to the dismay of his fans and family members.
