Lecrae Returns with Powerful New Album — Reconstruction

After three years away from releasing a full-length project, 4X Grammy-winning hip hop artist Lecrae is back with his tenth studio album, “Reconstruction”; a bold, deeply personal, and faith-centered body of work. Spanning 19 tracks, the album showcases Lecrae’s unmatched ability to merge transparent storytelling with socially conscious hip hop, making it one of the most defining projects of his career.

A Star-Studded and Spirit-Filled Collaboration

Reconstruction brings together a diverse lineup of artists from both mainstream and faith-based music. High-profile collaborators include T.I., Killer Mike, Jon Bellion, and Fridayy, alongside powerful voices from the Christian community such as Madison Ryann Ward, Torey D’Shaun, Jackie Hill Perry, Propaganda, MEEZO!, Aklesso, and Hollyn.

The album captures the refined sound Lecrae has been cultivating for over two decades, blending raw hip hop beats with lyrics rooted in authenticity and faith.

A Message of Renewal and Spiritual Foundation

In a recent interview with Charlamagne tha God on The Breakfast Club, Lecrae explained that Reconstruction is more than music, it’s a journey of rebuilding faith on the firm foundation of obedience to Christ.

Charlamagne praised the project, noting, “If Lecrae wasn’t a quote-unquote ‘Christian rapper,’ they would have to put [Reconstruction] in rap album of the year category.”

Through tracks of reflection and resilience, Lecrae invites listeners who are wrestling with belief to rebuild their faith, reminding them that “Broken things can be rebuilt. Broken people can be restored. Broken faith can be renewed.”

Connecting with Communities Beyond Music

In addition to the album, Lecrae has remained dedicated to his community. On July 21st in Atlanta, he partnered with City Takers for a back-to-school drive, providing children with essential supplies. Shortly after, he launched a similar initiative in Dallas with The Human Impact, proving that his artistry is inseparable from his service to others.

He also engaged fans through a creative campaign ahead of the album’s release, sending exclusive mailers to over 1,200 supporters, giving them access to early music, content, and unique rewards.

Reconstruction World Tour Announced

Alongside the album release, Lecrae has unveiled plans for his Reconstruction World Tour. The global trek kicks off on September 4th in Harare, Zimbabwe, and concludes on December 6th in Brisbane, Australia.

The 42-date run will feature stops across major U.S. cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and Nashville, as well as international performances throughout Africa and Australia. Special guests Miles Minnick, Gio, and Torey D’Shaun will join him on select dates.

This tour will mark one year since Lecrae’s last major outing, The Final Church Clothes Tour, giving fans a chance to experience both classics from his celebrated catalog and new tracks from Reconstruction.

Lecrae’s Next Chapter

With Reconstruction, Lecrae is not only revisiting his core spiritual beliefs but also inviting listeners into a movement of renewal and restoration. Each track serves as a brick in rebuilding the walls of faith, echoing the Fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control.

The album is more than a return; it’s a rebirth, a reawakening, and a reminder that hip hop can be both culturally relevant and spiritually transformative.
