Award-winning Michigan-based gospel singer and pastor, Marvin Sapp, 46, is one of the most recognized, loved and successful recording artists in the music industry.

Just because audiences love hearing him, however, doesn’t mean he loves singing to them. In a recent interview with The KD Bowe Show, the “Never Would Have Made It” singer suggested his
passion has waned.
“I want music to be fun again,” Sapp said. “It’s work.”
Since launching out into music in ; 1996, he has recorded seven albums, garnered Stellar and Dove Award wins, topped Billboard charts, and gained widespread acclaim.
Still, in the midst of all that,somewhere along the way, the excitement and joy of it has been lost.
“It’s like, you gotta get up, you gotta go sing and you get a check,and that’s cool,” explained the widower, who lost his wife and manager, MaLinda Sapp to colon cancer in 2010.
