Samnem Ijaya as popularly called fell in love with music at a very tender age and sings indigenous rap music/hip hop. He has been in the music industry for sometime but song that gave him recognition is “MO RANTI” in which many DJs mistook him for the late Dagrin .
Samnem is the brain behind the annual street tour /concert GHETTO GOSPEL which has held for three years. He won NGMA 2013 as NEXT RATED, and has shared the stage/collaborated with some top acts in Nigeria such as 9ice, TerryG, Jaywon, Segun Obe, Samsong, Seriki, RoofTop Mcs, Kim Burrell(UK), Artquake, LKT, Buchi, Eben, Bouqui, Cohbams, Nomoreloss, Lara George, Late Fatai Rolling Dollar, Sammie Okposo, Nathaniel Bassey, Lord of Ajasa, Dammy krane and several others.
And also has been featured on song with Segun Obe, Midnight crew and Mixmasterj and others.
He is currently in the studio working on his album and his new single video BEENI(Y.E.S) Reloaded.
