Sunmisola and Yinka first became a beloved public couple in March 2023 when their engagement announcement went viral, attracting thousands of congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues, and celebrities. Their proposal video alone gathered more than 300,000 views on YouTube. That same month they held their marriage introduction ceremony before officially sealing their union in a court wedding on June 1, 2023, followed by their white wedding on June 3 of the same year.
