2024 Grammy Awards: Blessing Offor, Tasha Cobbs, Maverick City Music Receive Nominations

Anticipation are in top gear for the 66th GRAMMY Awards – Music’s Biggest Night as The Recording Academy has officially revealed the nominations for the 2024.

In the Christian/Gospel category, Blessing Offor, Tasha Cobbs, and music collective Maverick City Music lead with two nominations each. Blessing Offor, the Nigerian-born American Christian pop singer, received a nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for his viral single “Believe.” His chart-topping album ‘My Tribe’ is also nominated for Best Gospel Album of the year. Powerhouse Gospel Songstress Tasha Cobbs, collaborative effort with renowned gospel rapper Lecrae, earned a nomination in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category for ‘Your Power,’ while her 24-track album ‘Hymns (Live)‘ is recognized in the Best Gospel Album category.

Contemporary Worship Group Maverick City Music’s latest album ‘The Maverick Way Complete‘ is nominated for Best Gospel Album, and their inspiring single ‘God Problems’ with Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine has earned a spot in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category.

Multiple Grammy Awards winner and Gospel Music Icon Kirk Franklin also received a nomination in the Best Gospel Performance/Song for his uplifting track ‘All Things,’ creating anticipation among gospel music enthusiasts for another remarkable Grammy experience.

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on CBS.
