Emmy® Award-Nominated Actress and producer Roma Downey Launches her new devotional Channel on YouTube named “A Moment of Light with Roma Downey

The Celebrated Northern Irish Filmmaker is popularly known for producing the acclaimed mini-series “The Bible”, for the History Channel and also starred in it, as Mary, mother of Jesus, The latest content from Roma Downey offers uplifting messages in the form of free devotional videos featuring scenic shots of nature and her voice-over.

According to LightWorkers, Roma would often post her moments of reflection and inspiration on Instagram. However, she soon realized how many people were in need of hope and encouragement by the response to these posts.

“That was the genesis!” Roma explained. “And my talented team at LightWorkers all came together to help make it happen. We decided to create beautifully produced nature videos with music and sound design crafted to elevate people’s spirit.”

“I am so fortunate to live near the ocean, and I have always enjoyed the beauty of nature and feel more connected to God there,” Roma shared with LightWorkers. “We see His love for us in the colors He paints in the sky at sunrise, His strength in the majesty of trees and His depth in the scale and beauty of the ocean. It’s as if nature is the cathedral. When we connect and take time to listen to the birds singing, we slow down and remember who we truly are.”

Roma Downey also recently announced that she is producing a film adaptation of the bestselling allegorical novel Redeeming Love, which follows up with the launch of her YouTube devotional channel
