American reality Gospel television show – “Sunday Best” is back!!! The singing competition which is aired on BET is in its 10th edition and has kick-started since the 5th of July.
Starting off in Sunday Best fashion, the series returned at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. The first two episodes of season 10 began with the contestants having to prove to the judges their singing abilities with no smoke and mirrors, by performing acapella with no band support, as the judges narrows the participants from 20 to the top 10.
This year season welcomes back GRAMMY-winning music legend Kirk Franklin as host; while GRAMMY-winning songstress & host of “Get Up Mornings,” Erica Campbell, GRAMMY-nominated artist & star of BET’s “American Soul” Kelly Price and GRAMMY-nominated & multiple Stellar Award-winning artist Jonathan McReynolds returned as Judges.
In a bid to cope with the rigorous effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure everyone involved in this year’s competition is safe – new and innovative technology, techniques and artist-generated content were used to complete production of episodes four through eight of season 10, creating a unique way for the viewing audience to join in on weekly praise & worship during the period when most Americans needs it most.
