“Everybody loves a good story,” shares Blessing Offor. “Especially the ones that make us feel not so alone. This song wasn’t so much written as much as it presented itself. Sitting with my cowriter Rita, we shared life stories, shared frustrations, and while we came from such different places, the stories, the feelings were all too similar. Following the release, Blessing Offor is scheduled to perform at Jenna Bush Hager’s inaugural “Read with Jenna Book Festival” in Nashville later this month. He will also take the stage at CMA Fest on June 8, where he plans to debut new music for fans.
