Entries Open for Gospel Icons Africa (GIA) Talent Show, Set to Discover Next-Rated Christian Artists

Organizers of the Gospel Icons Africa (GIA) talent show have announced their readiness to discover the next generation of Christian artists and provide a platform for upcoming gospel artistes to showcase their talents.

They have also revealed that the winner of the show, which commences this month (September), will walk home with A Car, N10M Cash prize, a Two-year record deal, and an all-expense-paid trip to Jerusalem. Other winners will also receive incentives such as cash prizes, musical instruments, and iPhones, among other rewards.

To participate, interested individuals are required to visit www.gospeliconsafrica.com, upload their 30-second video, and await feedback within a few days.

Commenting on the initiative, the Chief Operating Director of GIA, Segun Oluwayomi, stated, “GIA reality show is a unique gospel reality show because our core is to raise kingdom stars. We have various gospel music veterans who will work with them through the journey.”

“Also, everyone who makes an entry is sure to be imparted in one way or the other, you cannot connect with us and remain the same. The programme is in phases, The first phase is the entry phase where people will register on our website www.gospeliconsafrica.com and they are to upload a 30-second video of themselves singing.”

“After that, there will be auditions for these videos will be done by selected music veterans. Then, the successful participants will be contacted for a life show.”

According to the Managing Director of GIA, Esther Oladeji, the show is a platform for true worshippers to connect with God and bless humanity.

In his words “This show is to please God, and because we desired to do his will, He has led us through pattern and structure he wants us to go.”

“It is to change the narratives of gospel music in Africa, by modeling God’s template of true Gospel music. Also, to give up-and-coming Gospel artistes a platform to show forth their light.”

Chief Executive Director, GIA, Bamidele Martins, also noted that the show “is a form of empowerment for up-and-coming gospel singers, including professionals.”
