Produced by the multi-award winning Wole Oni, The groovy track features a catchy intro and syncopation which gives an exciting feel and a soothing sound.

According to Funke Akinokun, “Mercy is very important. No matter how righteous we try to be, it is not good enough because the scripture states that our righteousness are like filthy rags in the eyes of God. Even David said in 2 Samuel 24-14, that it is better to fall in the hands of God than to fall in the hands of Man, because God loves us and He will show us mercy”

Mercy serves as the second of three singles Funke Akinokun will be releasing from the new project, following up the first release ‘Holy is our God‘.
