KOSI looks likely to be Mercy Chinwo’s Next biggest hit and the reasons for this would be explained below:

  • Chorus Simplicity

With recently-premiered single & video “Obinasom,” still buzzing the airwaves, the Powerhouse songstress teased her fans with a snippet of yet another powerful song off her upcoming sophomore album, which was originally scheduled to be due in April (now in July). The song features a superbly simplistic chorus and it’s a very easy singalong.

“Kosi o Kosi o, Awimayehun
Koseni bire, Awimayehun” She Sings

“KOSI is one song I can’t wait to share with you all.” wrote Mercy Chinwo while expressing her delight about the song.

  • Indigenous Flair

The amazing songstress is famously known for singing in the Igbo dialect, with most of her songs carrying an indigenous tone with it. Surprisingly, the forthcoming worship single finds Mercy Chinwo singing in Yoruba, marking her first-ever record delivered in the popular western-Nigerian language. The Yoruba language is one of the easiest indigenous languages to easily learn, speak, and familiarize with. Thus, Mercy Chinwo singing in Yoruba clearly gives likely next hit a huge listening fanbase from Yoruba speaking communities.
