UK-based Ghanaian talented bassist and multi-instrumentalist Harry Awortwi is out with his latest project – a double album release, “My Worship” and “All We Ask”. The new project is a follow-up to his previous releases ‘Might To Save’ and ‘Good Life’ which captured the hearts of gospel-jazz and worship lovers across the world.
“My Worship” is a 15-track collection that brings to light the richness of instrumentation behind some of the gospel hits such as ‘King of Glory’, originally written and performed by Todd Dulaney ft Shana Wilson, “Atmosphere” by Jubilee Worship ft Phil Thompson, “Way Maker” by Sinach, and More which were given the perfect Jazzy touch on this new project. The new project boasts guest appearances from renowned bassists Bernard Harris (USA), Bheka Mthethwa (South African), and Maurice Fitzgerald (USA). Emmanuel Bludo (Ghana) and Calvin Rodgers (USA) on Drums, and also saxophonist – Charles Walker (USA).
“Our aim to share our musical talent with various musicians all over the world through this contemporary gospel jazz music and instrumental worship set. If you enjoy jazz or funk music, new and creative arrangement of popular worship tunes, then this project is what you need” – Harry Awortwi added.
