According to several reports, He died yesterday evening February 11th at Delta State University Teaching Hospital after battling an illness..
He is survived by a wife, Chinonso and one child. Eric and his wife celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary recently.

Eric Arubayi is a worship leader in House on the Rock Lagos, and his kind of music has been described as classic R&B/Soul. He was part of the maiden edition of the defunct West African Idols and released his debut Album in 2011 titled “Redefined”.
