The Howard Gospel Choir of Howard University is pleased to announce the release of their first full length album in over two decades entitled Glorious God.

The album is a diverse collective of the choir’s rich musical legacy which includes anthems, hymns, spirituals and contemporary gospel. The choir’s most notable alumni include Elbernita ‘Twinkie’ Clark and Richard Smallwood.

The album features soloists including BET Sunday Best favorites Geoffrey Golden (season 7 winner), Ayodele Owolabi (season 7 contestant), Clifton Ross III (season 8 runner up and season 2 contestant) and Grammy and Stellar nominated Brittney Wright.

The album was produced by the choir’s current musical directors Reginald Goldenand Darrell Brown, along with Kevin Golden and Grammy award winning production advisor Kevin Bond. The album not only features contributions from members of the Howard University community, but also contributions from alum of historically black colleges and universities throughout the nation including Morehouse College, Mississippi Valley State University and Morgan State University.
