GRAMMY Award-winning artist, songwriter, worship leader, and producer, Israel Houghton credited as Israel & New Breed has released a new single “Broken People” featuring singer and songwriter DOE. The heartfelt song is lifted from his forthcoming album, “PROJECT LA: ALIVE IN LOS ANGELES” due Oct. 22.

Israel & New Breed had earlier collaborated with DOE this year on “In Jesus Name,” featured on their 13-track LP “Feels Like Home (Vol.2)” released in April. According to Israel Houghton, he watched DOE’s amazing cover of the song and was led to reach out and get her to work with him on the project. The output was a success and of course lead to another collab on this heartwarming new piece, “Broken People”.

The “Project LA: Alive in Los Angeles” album follows the “Feels like Home, Volume 1 and 2” projects which were inspired by the live and uncut sessions of worship with Israel Houghton and New Breed birthed during the lockdown when they began streaming live worship sessions from his home, called “Worship Wednesdays”. This later evolved into the “Feels Like Home: A Quarantine Worship Experience”, where they sat in a cozy, home cell-like setting streaming raw sounds of worship.

“Project LA: Alive in Los Angeles” is available for preorder with an instant download “Broken People” featuring Doe Jones.
