Jumoke Releases “Waka Gospel Medley”
Jumoke returns with “Waka Gospel Medley,” a traditional praise jam heavy on African percussion and delivered with modernity. The new track is produced by award-winning Nigerian music maestro, Wilson Joel.
According to her, the song was birthed through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Jumoke also added that she drew inspiration from some of the works of her late mother, Sarah Kokumo.
“‘Waka Gospel is a genre that has not been extensively explored in the Gospel music industry space,” said Jumoke. “This is a new vibe and promises to be soul-lifting as we dance to worship God this season and beyond listening to this.”
