The controversies that have surrounded Famous Pop & R&B singer Justin Bieber in recent times has not gone without notice by fans and music critics worldwide. But like a certain part of the holy book says “Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new” definitely comes to heart when you witness the transformation Bieber has gone through over the past one year.
Once again the prominent singer has taken to social media to reflect on his challenges with drug abuse and other related offenses emphatically encouraging many by saying “Don’t allow your past ruin today.”
Looking back at the time he was taken into custody nearly seven years ago for driving under the influence of alcohol, the 26-year-old admitted it wasn’t his proudest moment.
In a recent Instagram post, Justin said “7 years ago today I was arrested, not my finest hour. Not proud of where I was at in my life. I was hurting, unhappy, confused, angry, mislead, misunderstood, and angry at god.”
“All this to say God has brought me a long way. From then till now I do realize something.. God was as close to me then as He is right now. My encouragement to you is to ‘let your past be a reminder of how far God has brought you,” he enthused.
“Don’t allow shame to ruin your ‘today’ let the forgiveness of Jesus take over and watch your life blossom into all that God has designed you to be. LOVE YOU GUYS WITH MY WHOLE HEART,” Bieber concluded
