Liatu Aweh Releases “Yabo Hills” EP: Stream here!

Liatu Aweh, a Nigerian gospel singer, has released her new Extended Play (EP) “Yabo Hills,” available on all digital platforms. The 10-track project is a collection of praise songs in English and Hausa, that fuses contemporary sounds with Afrocentric elements with a pop undertone.

Titled in the Hausa Language of the Northern part of Nigeria, “Yabo Hills” simply translates to “Praise Hills”. The new EP features standout songs like “Sarai, Sarai (Remix),” “Mai Ceto Na,” and “God of Power” amongst others.

Liatu Aweh is a Nigerian gospel artist, songwriter, and worship leader whose melodies and inspiring lyrics are combinations of Hausa & English languages. She was raised in Plateau state and also had her education in Northern Nigeria. Her passion for music has its root in her faith since childhood. Growing up in a Christian household, she discovered her love for singing and found fulfillment in Gospel music melodies which became her source of comfort, relaxation, and strength. She is happily married to Pastor Prince Michael and they are blessed with a daughter.
