Limoblaze Bags “African Act of the Year” Award at Vine Awards 2022

Congratulatory messages pour in for Limoblaze as he bags the “African Act of the Year” award at the 3rd annual Vine Awards ceremony which was held this past weekend (May 7) in Kampala, Uganda.

Reacting to the good news, the Nigerian Afrogospel sensation who is now based in the UK, wrote on Instagram: “African Act of the Year ❤️ The amount of love I get across Africa, I’ll always be grateful for and I’ll continue to make y’all proud by God’s grace.”

“Uganda holds a special place in my heart & I can’t wait to sing my hearts out to y’all soon. S/O @vineawardsug and to everybody artists nominated, you bless and inspire me and I honor you ??” He Added.

Other artists nominated alongside Limo in that category include Judikay, Moji Shortbaba, Pompi, and Marizu.

The maiden edition (2020) of the vine awards saw Zambia’s Pompi bag the “African Act of the Year” award, while last year’s edition (2021) witnessed Uganda’s very-own Levixone win in that category.

According to the Vine Awards Academy, the award ceremony is aimed at rewarding Christians who are excelling and influencing the entertainment, business, media, governance, education, and family spheres and governance in Uganda and Africa.
