MaryJane Readies New Single “OTUEKONG” for June 23 Release

Nigerian gospel music minister, MaryJane is set to release a new single including a complimenting video on the 23rd of June, 2023. The song titled “Otuekong” directly translates “Great Warrior” from the Ibibio dialect of the Akwa-Ibom people of the south-south of Nigeria.

MaryJane Nweke, also known as the Golden Voice is hyped as she looks forward to this release. The song was recorded at Rocktown Studio while Jesus Filmworks shot and directed the video.

MaryJane is known for her heartfelt eulogies of God and traditional folk praise songs. While “Otuekong” is no different in style, the rendition is powerfully memorable with its sing-along melody. This is bound to become a regular go-to song on Sunday morning praise and worship session – a delight for the worship leader.
