Since 2005, Charmaine has been known as one of Kirk Franklin’s staple background vocalists, having sung on three albums and three tours with the gospel music legend. Now, the popular alto is stepping out on solo with her debut single.
The tune, “Preacher Man,” is a mix between spoken word and hip-hop, delivering a compassionate, but honest commentary on issues in the church today.
