James Umokoro

TWC managed Praise and Worship leader, Producer and Songwriter James Umokoro is out with his debut single “Hallelujah”. The single which was produced by the singer himself dropped as a birthday gift.

James, who is the Production coordinator of TWC Media and also a member of Worship Culture has been in the Gospel music scene for a while and has directed many Choirs and Groups. He was the Music Director of Four Square Gospel Church, Area 3 Garki Abuja until he relocated recently to Lagos.

In his words, the singer cum Producer explained the inspiration behind the song “Hallelujah”  “I was invited to minister in a church about 5yrs years ago. After all my preparations for the program, when I got on the stage, I just couldn’t do any of the songs I prepared for. I perceived within me that God wanted us to sing a new song and I knew it. Right there on the stage I heard the song “Hallelujah…” in my spirit. I had no choice but to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as He dropped the song on my lips.

Today I want to share with you that experience of His awesome presence. May every heart be lifted, and let the praises of our God be heard and known everywhere.

Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
[Then] shall the earth yield her increase; [and] God, [even] our own God, shall bless us. Psm.67:5-6″
