Worship Leader Natasha Daniels loves to bask in the presence of God. Gifted in bringing other believers into her worship, Natasha has been gaining Gospel music fans from coast to coast.
Recently wowing attendees at the Rhythm of Gospel Awards in Jacksonville, Florida, she’s been honored to open up for artists such as Jason Nelson and Casey J. Now the First Lady of Power House Kingdom Ministries in Bordentown, New Jersey and the leader of the singing group, Worshippers Unplugged, she is spreading her wings with the release of her brand new single, “You Are Great”. Produced by Gospel artist and producer Bubby Fann, the mid-tempo worship anthem is available on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby.
The Gospel Artist describes “You Are Great” as a “worshiper’s escape in the grace of God”. With a quick listen, it’s apparent that Natasha delivers a rousing performance on the uplifting track, one that she penned herself. During a trying season in her life, she wrote “You Are Great”. “I remember sitting in my car during the time when my husband’s health challenges began,” she recalls. “All of the sudden, the song came to me. Despite what was happening with my husband, I realized that God is still great. My circumstances don’t dictate the awesomeness or the power of God. That’s a message I want believers to understand. No matter what you’re facing, God will always be great,” she says.
The song is the first of many coming from the up-and-coming artist. “You Are Great” is her debut single from a forthcoming EP. As a recording artist who shines in a live element, she will record live in March 2018. Fans can expect the project to release in late 2018. Although Natasha has been singing her entire life, a lack of confidence kept her from pursuing her calling earlier. Her mother, who is a gifted pianist, taught Natasha to play as a youth. She joined the children’s choir and belted out songs at her home church. Years later, she became a member of a Gospel ensemble entitled ABG, or Anointed By God. Years later, she formed her own group, Zamar Prayze. The worship ensemble’s goal was to “make God tangible and known” and they became quite popular locally. It was after her time with the ensemble that she knew it was time to step into her own ministry.
She is excited about the music and the message God has given her to share. She and her husband, Pastor Jasper T. Daniels, III, are the founders of Power House Kingdom Ministries. His health crisis began with sudden weight loss, major muscle and joint discomfort and other significant symptoms. Ultimately, he was diagnosed with dermatomyositis, a disease that he manages with medication. The tests have strengthened Natasha and Jasper’s marriage and have given Natasha a new platform to minister from. A preacher of the Gospel as well, she uses every method available to inspire others, no matter what they are going through. “Sometimes things happen in life that you don’t expect,” she says. “When life happens, God meets you right where you are. At that place, it’s important to know what you want God to do for you and what you are willing to do for Him. “What exchanges are you willing to make so you can be your best and God can shine brightly in your life? Once you have that mutual agreement with God, you take each other by the hand and you walk it out…together.”
