Nikki Laoye Drops Uplifting New Song “Trust You”

Nikki Laoye - Trust You

Multi-Award-winning soul singer Nikki Laoye returns with the uplifting single, “Trust You,” a song inspired by her personal declaration of faith and trust in God’s unfailing love and power that kept her head above the stormy seasons of life.

Produced by guitarist/producer Nelson Jason, Nikki has designed this soul-stirring anthem to offer the same strength and encouragement, especially in these trying times. She urges us all to reaffirm our faith and confidence in God according to Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Speaking about the song, Nikki shares, “People are going through really difficult seasons at this time, and I just want to reach out to everyone with this song – Don’t give up, trust God again, keep believing, hold on to His promises, and be assured that our loving Father will come through for you. His love and mercy will pull you out into a steady flow of daily victory through Christ Jesus.”

The video was directed by Tevi Egbamuno for Tunes and Tones Productions and featured cameo appearances by Gospel Artist Tobi Jeff Richards and the musicians and singers on the song, namely Nelson Jason (Producer/Guitarist), Wale Olupitan (Keys), Mayowa Afolabi (Bass), Elisha Johnson (Guitarist), Israel Sunday (Drums), and the backup vocalists – Victory Olalelye, Chyka Osuji, and Cassandra. The song was mixed and mastered by Nikki’s brother/producer, Xblaze.

“Trust You” is out now on YouTube and all music streaming platforms.
