{PhotoNews} Free 2 Worship Concert: A Huge Success (@woodclef)

Whoever is in doubt that God still inhabits the praises of His people need to have a feel of the imminent presence of God in the recently concluded Free 2 Worship Concert. The concert really showed us that truly, we have been set “Free 2 Worship” God.

The concert was well attended and it was indeed one of the biggest concerts in Arepo Town.  One of the attendees said it took her some time to get a parking space.  The event took place in a church that has one of the biggest auditoriums within that vicinity, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Beautiful Gate Parish.  The concert was organized by The True Worshippers and it was done in conjunction with the church.

The True Worshippers (TTW) was a group initiated by Kayode Olusoji (The Gidi Gan Master) and his wife Moji Olusoji, in 2007. It was born out of the vision that God gave to Kayode Olusoji in 1996, to reach out to the world in songs and groom the true worshippers, who will worship God in Spirit and in truth. The group started out with a quarterly program tagged “Simply Worship” which was recently changed to “Free 2 Worship” according to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The concert has always been characterized by the move of the Holy Spirit and this just concluded one was not an exception. The concert gave birth to some of the great songs by Kayode and Moji Olusoji and the group has produced some artists who are doing fine in the ministry today.

ImaBrown, one of the members of TTW opened the floor with an intense worship session that charged the atmosphere, followed by Foluke Omodara, also a member of TTW, who changed the ambiance of the place. Those who did not come with their dancing shoes on that day would regret they didn’t.  Bunmi Dada while ministering said, physical challenge should not debar someone from worshipping God. She invoked the presence of God with great music and people were really blessed. Moji Olusoji took over the stage and turned everywhere around for God. The worship session went into a new dimension and it was obvious that angels and the host of heaven must have joined in that worship session.

Dusky later took over the stage with his song “Made 2 Worship” and “Odinobim”. The ministration was really awesome.  Later, Kayode Olusoji (The Gidi Gan Master) turned everywhere around for God with his African music spiced with a contemplorary flavour. He sang “Gidi Gan”, “Mukulumuke”, “I lift my hands” and he crowned it all with “Mo Moore”. The other three are his compositions from his album, Gidi Gan Classic, and “Mo Moore” is his new composition which he is currently working on. He invoked down the kind of Spirit that was upon David when he danced without reservation to the Lord. David could not have done better, everyone was just celebrating and jubilating in the presence of God and they forgot about whom they were and gave God their best dance offering.

Pastor Sola Obabori, the resident pastor of the church, was also a great blessing on that day.  Shortly before he came up on the stage, the RCCG Beautiful gate choir ministered powerfully. Later, Eljazz did instrumentals with other TTW musicians after whom we prayed against terrorism in this country and for the return of the Chibok girls. Posi Olusoji, the eldest son of the Olusojis also ministered on the Piano, followed by “Da Apostle’s Crew” who did a dance drama and later an altar call was made and people gave their lives to Jesus Christ.  Surely, as we were rejoicing here on earth on that day, it was evident that there was also a great joy in heaven on those souls who were translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. The harvest of souls was the climax of that concert and people were truly set “Free 2 Worship” God.

We appreciate all our supporters who made the concert a grand success.  Next concert comes up in November, 2014, till then; keep praying for this vision to grow bigger and better.
