“SAY YES” Singer Michelle Williams is Engaged!

Former Destiny’s Child member, Michelle Williams is ready to walk down the aisle!

Taking to social media, the “Say Yes” Singer announced her engagement to pastor Chad Johnson – a Pro sports chaplain for the Pittsburgh Steelers, L.A. Dodgers, and founder of Elevate International.

“On March 21, 2018, the love of my life @chadjohnson77 proposed and I said “Yesssssssss…..I will, I will, I will!!!” said Michelle in an Instagram post.

Nearly one month into their secret engagement, the couple opened up to PEOPLE exclusively about their love story.

“What kept drawing me and drawing me at first was I felt like I could be myself,” says Williams, who notes her fiancé calls her by her birth name. “My first name is Tenitra; my middle name is Michelle. I felt like I could be Tenitra: just ratchet, I didn’t have to have on any makeup, if I had to have on my hair bonnet — he just made me feel very safe in being myself.” Williams shared during the interview.
