While gems from WORK ME OVER continue to work their way up gospel charts, the album – originally released independently at iTunes – will be working its way into stores summer 2014 courtesy of a recently inked distribution deal with The Starlite Group/TYMO Gospel Music (Central South Distribution).

“My label, LDREnterprises, LLC, has acquired national distribution! I am grateful to God to be able (as an independent artist with a independent label) to have the opportunity to take the music ministry to the marketplace. We are so excited to be venturing into the marketplace with The Starlite Group/TYMO Gospel Music (Central South Distribution).”Dr. Larry D. Reid

Label president of TYMO Gospel Music & CEO of the Starlite Group, Tiffany Tyson, mirrors the excitement.

“We are elated to be partnering with Dr. Larry Reid and LDREnterprises,” says Tyson. “Dr. Larry Reid & The Breakthrough Singers bring a very energetic, unique sound to the Gospel community that I am sure Gospel music lovers will appreciate!”

With his energetic, jazz-tinged vocal styling in tow, Reid has been winning over fans and critics alike with a refreshing take on the genre. Naming gospel greats Walter Hawkins and the Hawkins Family, Richard Smallwood, Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers, and many more as direct influences, Reid’s work shines as a nod to yesteryear and a glimpse to the best of tomorrow.

“This single is indeed gospel music done well,” says Grammy®-winning gospel great Kurt Carr. “‘Better Than Ever’ is quickly becoming one of Internet, satellite, and commercial radio’s most requested songs.”
