Sonnie Badu Returns with “My Confidence” (Live)

After a 2-year hiatus from the music scene, Sonnie Badu is back with New Music!

The US-based Ghanaian gospel artist and Preacher has released a new single “My Confidence,” recorded live at the Buckhead Theatre (The Safari Experience) in Atlanta. The uplifting song is sure re-ignite faith and confidence in God, in the heart of listeners.

Speaking about the song, Badu revealed the piece is very personal to him. “I am back from retirement as promised!!! This song is very personal” The “Baba Oh” singer wrote on Instagram, “I went through a period of trauma and depression 2019 -2020. It was a very very tough season in my life. This was how I cried unto the Lord and he heard my voice. #MyCovenant” He added.

Accompanied by a live performance video, “My Confidence” is the first music release from Badu after his  ‘Rhythms of Afrika’ (Live in Atlanta) project which dropped in 2021.
