Congratulations are in order for Multiple Award winner and Powerhouse gospel songstress, Tasha Cobbs Leonard as she receives her special plaque for emerging Billboard’s Top Gospel Artist of the Decade (2010 – 2020).
The music industry standard record chart in December 2020, announced that the Grammy® Award winner after its year-end and decade-end charts emerged top of the list while being named the Top Female Gospel Artist for the 3rd consecutive year.
In a year filled with record-breaking feat and achievements, while amassing over 2 billion streams, Tasha Cobbs Leonard earned two additional RIAA® certifications—one Platinum certification for her hit single “Break Every Chain,” and a Gold certification (her third) for the #1 radio single “You Know My Name.” She was also awarded highest honors as Gospel Artist of the Year at the 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards and Artist of the Year at the 35th Annual Stellar Awards.
In a special appreciation video post on Instagram, Tasha Cobbs revealed how super emotional she was while encouraging her fans and other Christian faithfuls to do what God has instructed them to do, as he puts his favour and grace on our endeavors. “Keep doing what God has instructed you to do, don’t change, because it is on you that he’s called” she concluded.

Recall that Tasha Cobb’s recent full-length project Royalty: Live at The Ryman debuted at No 1. Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart last year with her soul-lifting project, accompanied by striking live performance videos, already being called the singer’s most vulnerable and mature recording to date.
