Tauren Wells Drops New Song “Come Home”

Tauren Wells - Come Home

As anticipation continues to build towards the release of his third album “Joy in the Morning,” coming in June, Christian Pop-rock and R&B artist Tauren Wells drops “Come Home,” another new single off the project. This follows “Empty,” and the album’s lead single “Fake It” (ft. Aaron Cole).

Commenting on the release, Tauren shares;

“If the Bible is a two-edged sword, religion is a loaded gun,” He wrote on Instagram, “The belief of too many has been wounded or left lifeless because of those ill-equipped to handle either with grace, truth, love, and wisdom.”

Continues “I think it should be stated plainly, horrific things have been done in the name of God. Inexplicable wrongs have been justified by certain era’s and sectors of the Christian faith. There is no denying that. As a Christian, owning that reality is the only path forward.”

Tauren Wells concluded by quoting lyrics from the new single;

“I know that you got wounded
it’s painful when your heart is disillusioned
And you find out all your heroes they’re just human
And they know not what they do
The perpetrators of division
All the casualties in the name of religion
So you think that you’d be safer from a distance
And i can’t say that it’s not true

I know that you’ve seen
The sin of hypocrisy
That the human condition
Not Gods heartbeat
So I’m sorry, I’m sorry”

“Come Home” available today on digital platforms is accompanied by its official live performance video. Watch below;
