“The Life Recording” — Nathaniel Bassey Releases New Album

Renowned worship leader and gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey has released his new seven track live worship project, “The Life Recording.” The project is now available across major digital streaming and download platforms.
With its intentional title, “The Life Recording” focuses on spiritual renewal, worship, and an encounter with God. Nathaniel Bassey brings together original songs, powerful covers, and live praise moments that invite listeners to seek God with fresh hunger.
The project includes a selection of original worship songs alongside dynamic reinterpretations. One of the featured covers is “Onye Kam Ga Si Na Oyiri Gi,” while gospel singer Mirabel Ekezie makes a guest appearance on the project.
Another major highlight is the popular praise medley built around “The Battle Belongs to God.” The medley brings together familiar worship moments and reinforces the project’s central message of faith, victory, and confidence in God’s power.
In a special video announcement, Nathaniel Bassey described the recording as “an incredible time in God’s presence few months ago when we gathered to capture those songs”. He further explained the heart behind the project’s title, saying, “I’m excited to get across this mini-album to you, the Life recording, it is intentionally tagged the Life recording because what you’d experience from the Album is Life” he said.

That vision shapes the listening experience from start to finish. Rather than presenting the project as a simple collection of songs, Bassey positions “The Life Recording” as an invitation into worship and spiritual encounter.
The live format also gives the project a distinct atmosphere. The songs carry the energy of gathered worship while allowing listeners to connect with the music in personal devotion, prayer, and praise.
“The Life Recording” also adds another milestone to Nathaniel Bassey’s consistent body of work. The project marks his sixth consecutive album in six years, showing the remarkable pace and commitment that have defined his recent ministry.
It follows “The Glory of His Presence” released in January,2026, “THE RIVER” released in 2024, “Hallelujah Live” released in 2023, “The Names of God” released in 2022, and “Hallelujah Again” released in 2021.
Each release has added another layer to Bassey’s worship ministry. Together, the projects have strengthened his reputation as one of Africa’s most influential worship leaders and have helped carry his sound to listeners around the world.
With “The Life Recording,” Nathaniel Bassey continues that journey with a project built around life, praise, and the presence of God. The seven track release is available now for listeners seeking a fresh worship experience.
