Energized by the first single, “Joy,” which is climbing at radio, ‘Secret Place: Live In South Africa,’ connects with audiences around the globe as Mitchell to toured Africa in September, and kicked off the domestic leg of the “Secret Place Tour” last week in Chicago. He has big shows planned in Philadelphia (December 7 at Theatre of Living Arts) and New York City (December 9 at United Palace).

“Last year, I heard God say, ‘Record and Release this next project in South Africa’ and in that moment I knew I had no choice to obey Him. What I didn’t know was where the road ahead of “yes” would take me and my team,” said VaShawn. “Having this project debut at number 1 is an incredible honor and is a sign of the plans God had for this body of work … let’s keep inviting the world to experience the “Secret Place.”

The atmosphere and energy of ‘Secret Place: Live In South Africa,’ reflects Mitchell’s passion for worship and the globalization and unifying power of Gospel Music.
