Yemi Babatunde Releases Debut Single “Mo Gbe Oga” ft. Oyenike, Dieko & Jimi Adeboye

Talented, Multi-faceted musician and Singer-songwriter Adeyemi Philip Babatunde well known as Yemi Babatunde makes his official debut as a recording artist with his first single titled “Mo Gbe Oga” (I Lift You High) featuring Oyenike, Dieko, and Jimi Adeboye.

The much-anticipated release from the Nigerian worshiper is a song of adoration and reverence for God, extolling His mightiness. It’s beautifully delivered with a fine blend of his local dialect, Yoruba, and English.

According to Yemi Babatunde, the track was birthed in 2006 and has ever since been in the incubation process even though it had already found it away into some public worship through grace. Not until recently did he feel the need to record it for official release.

“Our practice of worship should not be based only on the wealthiness of God but more importantly on His worthiness.” Yemi emphasizes speaking on the worship single, “‘Mo Gbe Oga, is the song that helps express how much we adore the Ancient of Days who is Worthy of all Glory, honor, power, and might.

“Mo Gbe Oga” (I Lift You High) produced by Edward Sunday, is a lovely piece of contemporary worship music with a touch of jazz elements that uplifts the spirit.

A practicing Architect, Yemi Babatunde doubles as a youth pastor, music director, composer songwriter who has a burden to connect the heart of men to worship God. Driven by his love for God, he stages a series of life-changing events that have had several testimonies streaming in.
