Nathaniel Bassey Announces “Hallelujah Challenge” (Double Portion) for Oct & Nov (2022)

Renowned worship leader and prolific Nigerian singer-songwriter, Nathaniel Bassey has announced another session of the ground-breaking “Hallelujah Challenge” set to kick off in October 2022.

Taking to social media to make the announcement, Nathaniel revealed this edition-themed “Double Portion” will hold for 22 Days in total split into October & November. According to the ‘Imela’ singer, the first session will start from OCTOBER 17th to OCTOBER 26th.

This great news has spurred excitement among thousands who have anticipated the next Hallelujah Challenge since the last one was held in February, earlier this year.

The “Hallelujah Challenge” also called “The midnight praise challenge” is a One-Hour online praise/worship session initiated by Nathaniel Bassey, and held at devoted and intentional hours daily.

The Hallelujah Challenge first started in June 2017 (from the hours of 12 am to 1 am) with a milestone reach of 68,000+ participants on Instagram live from around the world. The session of the challenge was then ended with a grand finale themed “The Hallelujah Festival” which was held in Lagos.

The “Hallelujah Challenge” has blessed millions of lives with testimonies to show for it and this time around, Nathaniel is set to open us up to another season of intentional worship and praise.

In 2021, Nathaniel Bassey released “Hallelujah Challenge Medley” – a 14min long track featuring a compilation of praise songs used frequently in Hallelujah Challenge sessions, most of which have become an anthem on the lips of many globally.

Nathaniel Bassey is a highly celebrated Nigerian gospel singer-songwriter, music producer, trumpeter, and pastor at “The Oasis” (the youth church of RCCG King’s Court Parish). The anointed psalmist uses music as a praise and worship tool to relate and help connect people to God. Some of his songs like Olorun Agbaye, Onise Iyanu, Yeshua Hamashiach, Adonai and so many more have become anthems for Christians. His deep and unending love for God is evident in his music as he makes everything Jesus-centered while highlighting the grace, power, love, holiness, and faithfulness of God.
