Award-winning Zambian gospel musician, Pompi delivers an acoustic new track titled “Kwacha,” alongside a music video.
Taking to social media, the Afro-hip-hop sensation used “Kwacha” to resound the recent events in Zambia where elections had just been concluded and a new leader chosen. He expressed pride and satisfaction in the results followed by the actions of the young of Zambia.
Pompi wrote: “This election has made many of us see and witness the power is truly for the people, by the people, and with the people! ‘Disgruntled Youth’ showed up and proved that they have the last say at the end of the day and that makes me proud!.”
The song, “Kwacha” which is a soundtrack for a movie titled “Fatsani”, a touching Malawian movie, speaks of hope for the African continent still yet in the claws of Corrupt leaders.
“Kwacha” is a song that injects hope into the veins of his African audience with Pompi using the song to encourage all that Light is about to Shine on Africa.
“Kwacha” is available for streaming and downloads across all digital platforms.
